   I wish I had known earlier that it was women’s day! The things I would have done to celebrate–open a box of chocolates, paint my nails, go to the spa… Sigh…
   (It’s okay, I suppose I can still do all of these things tomorrow!)

     I agree, we don’t need a certain day a year to celebrate women, as we don’t need Valentine’s Day to celebrate love. But in Romania it has a special meaning and when I was little I only knew it as Mother’s Day. And it’s really nice to see every woman with flowers in her hands on the street. It makes you smile. 🙂
