The Sartorialist is a fine observer of our times, managing to capture with his unique vision the street style from around the globe, its beauty in all its diversity. He doesn’t just take a picture, he tells a story through every one of his photos. And I love his stories. Fashion loves them too, for in the street style lies its greatest source of inspiration.
I could hardly wait for Scott Schuman’s second book, The Sartorialist: Closer, to be released. Not only because I was anxious to have it on my coffee table right next to his first one, but because I knew it was going to be the perfect gift to offer to one of my dear readers on the occasion of my blog anniversary. I was happy to discover many of my favourite photos in the new book, plus exclusive ones which have never been published before. I know there’s always his blog to enjoy, but there’s something so special about being able to browse through The Sartorialist’s selective work on paper. You feel you are a little closer to his photography and his stories. And today I have a special treat for you.
You have the chance to win your own copy of the book. To enter all you have to do is be a Classiq follower on Facebook or Twitter and leave a comment mentioning what you love the most about Scott Schuman’s photography.
For additional entries you can share this giveaway on your Facebook page or tweet about it, using the link to this blog post and @classiq and @Sartorialist. The giveaway is open internationally to all my readers (you don’t have to have a blog to participate) and it will run until October 7. The winner will be announced on Monday, October 8. Good luck!
