Romy Schneider: A Portrait

This portrait is one of my favourites of Romy Schneider. It’s by artist Andreas Reimann. It’s called Romy Classic and it’s part of his series Hommage to Romy Schneider: “This face, what I call the ‘Romy Classic’ never let go of me. Is it sad? Filled with pride or arrogance? Does she have a slight smile on her lips…?  Her mysterious face has often been compared with the look of Mona Lisa.”
