Here are my latest finds and news from fashion, style, film and beautiful living.
• A passion for leather. Edwina de Charette de la Contrie is the founder and designer of laContrie, a Parisian leather goods boutique. She founded laContrie for different reasons: because she loves bags, because she is devoted to craftsmanship and because she couldn’t find the bags and services she wanted. The personal touch and made-to-measure service that the in-store workshop provides are what sets the brand apart, qualities to be truly admired nowadays.
• Is it too early to dream of summer? This lovely Bonpoint L’été bleu (Blue Summer) campaign video is rejuvenating, like a breeze of summer seaside air on these winter days when we’re expecting snow again.
• 25 celebrities share their cinematic crush. Oh, this is fun.
• Wanderlust: a day in Florence
• Coveting: this Isabel Marant cuff bracelet
• Last week I forgot to mention something in my post dedicated to the Golden Globes: Homeland is my new favourite television series. I’ve always had a keen interest in the subjects of politics and warfare and I’m loving this.
• I’m dying to try this indian tea (chai latte) recipe; as I don’t drink coffee anymore, it seems such a great alternative to it.

This post lifted me up. How inspiring is that laContrie video? Love seeing them at work, making these beautiful bags. The summer video was too cute and I loved the cinematic crush thing. I watched them all. I’m viewing the Florence photos as I write this, so beautiful.
Thank you for the link love. I hope you like the tea.
Wow, Ada! LaContrie presents very chic bags that have an amazing craftsmanship! I’m happy to see a handmade work like in the video.
The summer kids collection is perfect for elegant little people. Lovely!
Firenze images remind me my trip to this city 2 years ago. It’s e place very romantic and inspiring.
Gorgeous links Ada! I agree, Homeland is a great show, can’t wait for more episodes. The acting is so good–Claire Danes, Mandy Patinkin, and Damien Lewis are so good + the plot is always turning, just when you think it’s getting a bit predictable. I will be spending some more time going through the rest of your links.

Claire Danes and Mandy Patinkin are excellent in it. I’ve only watched the first series and I can’t wait to get my hands on the second one.
I am in love with those bags – so beautiful, well-made and classic! xxx
The cinametic crush is so much fun to watch! I am also all into the spicy teas lately and chai is one of my favorites!
Loved the Bonpoint video – pity real kids don’t play that neatly:)) I watched all those cinematic crushes which were great fun! And those photos of Florence are just so beautiful – they really take me back there – can’t wait to return to the beautiful city one day. :)x
