Here are my latest finds and news from fashion, style, film, design and beautiful living.
• It’s not often that a photo shoot gets my attention these days, but this certainly has. Arizona Muse photographed by Josh Olins for the May issue of Vogue China.
• Take a look at Giorgio Armani’s Frames of Life SS 2012 filmed in Saint-Tropez: beautiful clothes, eyewear and that pixie haircut again.
• Currently craving: this Petit Bateau striped t-shirt. Speaking of which, have you seen the brand’s La Nouvelle Vague video starring Eva Herzigova? It’s from last season and I don’t know how I missed it, but I was hooked when I discovered it yesterday.
• Emanuelle Alt shares her favourite 15 French movies
• It’s peonies time. Isn’t this such a pretty way to decorate with the flowers of the season?
• A heavenly retreat: Kalu House, Plettenberg Bay, South Africa.
Have a great weekend and a wonderful month of May!

You said you are a stripe girl, I like that Petit Bateau. Who could not live the life of Saint Tropez, that film is amazing and it seams that the round glasses are a must this season, Ada 🙂 Enjoy the weekend :*
Ah, that Armani advert…. Saw it the other day, too. Made me crave summer and simple, but chic clothes and accessories… The top (and 2/3 of the collection on Eva) is really pretty. Hope it will be yours soon. 🙂
Wishing you a wonderful weekend, sweetheart!

P.S. Will email later today. 🙂
Love mixing white with neutrals. That striped shirt is amust have! Enjoy your weekend! xoxo
Lovely Armani video…what a location! That is a gorgeous Petit Bateau top, love it. If only swanning around in a petit bateau top while your toddler played with cars and toys on the floor looked that glamourous for real… I like Emmanuelle’s film list (loved Les Amants du Pont Neuf!).
Have a lovely weekend Ada x:)
I love the look in the third pic! Lovely editorial. Have a great weekend!
That Petit Bateau shirt is adorable! Also so excited for peonies. I saw my first batch at the market yesterday on the way to work. Didn’t pick them up though because it was too close to the weekend. I’m planning on getting some either on my way home from work today or tomorrow. Cannot wait! 🙂
Have a lovely weekend, Ada! xoxo
Those trousers are incredibly cool and very flattering!
What a striking editorial! I’m really liking Arizona’s asymmetrical hair! The lacing detail on the Petit Bateau top is lovely. We have peonies in the garden downstairs. I’m so looking forward to when they bloom.
Wishing you a splendid weekend Ada!
I adore all the divine clothes. White on white is so ideal for summer. Wishing you a radiant weekend, my lovely.
Fabulous images and links Ada–can’t wait to click over to Emmanuel Alt’s movie picks! Hoping you’re having a wonderful weekend!

Dear Ada,
sorry for being a bit quiet lately. Some weeks are more busy than others…. :-S
So many beautiful postings I have to go through now 😀
This editorial is very beautiful, especially like the picture with the chair. I like the entire styling very much, reminds me of Meryl Streep in Out of Africa a little bit.
Happy weekend to you, dear Ada!
Hi, Sofie. Oh, I know how busy one’s schedule can get. 🙂 That is exactly my feeling: the scenes look like they are picked from Out of Africa. I keep coming back to this theme and I’m going to write a post about the costumes in that film soon. 🙂
That Armani ad! The cruising boat scene killed me … sigh. I still remember my first glasses, they were Armani and I loved them!
Wonderful links as always, that Kalu House is amazing.
I hope you’re enjoying a wonderful weekend.
I love the white and neutrals together! Great wardrobe inspiration for spring/summer!
How ridiculously beautiful is Kalu House? And it’s actually really close to where I come from in South Africa! Hope you are having a lovely weekend!
Dear Ada, the editorial you shared with us is indeed beautiful and I love everything but the ties as I’m not a big fan of this accessory for women. I just looked at Emmanuelle’s favourites and I have to do some serious catch-up with French movies…Hope everything is well with you! It’s a very busy period at work and now that I started Twitter I feel that I’m negletting the blog as I need to practice the art of tweets 🙂
Beautiful editorial Ada, the neutral palette is so refreshing! I adore the Petit Bateau top + loved finding out about Emmanuelle’s favourite movies! Hope you had a wonderful weekend Ada! xx
Arizona Muse is just gorgeous.
