For an elevated beach look; these gorgeous rope bracelets and necklaces can also give your daily summer wardrobe a nautical spin. Paired with a little black dress and elegant flat sandals or with pretty shorts, wedges and a silk scarf worn as a top, these would make August’s of-the-moment accessories, even a summer classic I venture to say. Don’t you agree? And if you happen to find a DIY tutorial for this kind of jewellery, do share. I would love to make my own and although it can’t be that hard, step by step directions would be more than welcomed.

Beautiful! I’ve seen wide cuff bracelets before and always wanted to get it – never did, don’t know why… I guess, my wish list is waaaay to long to get everything from it straight away. 🙂
I think the first two are pretty easy to DIY without a tutorial. You can get the findings in any craft shop, as well as the rope in the right size… Then I’d tie two or three pieces of rope in a tight knot, put some glue on it and push inside one of the silver or gold ending bits. Let it dry, then twist as reqired, then make a knot on the other end, cut off the excess, put glue on and stick inside the other silver bit. 😀
@Little Rus
It seems so simple after you’ve explained it so nicely. Will definitely give it a try. xoxo
they are wonderful, Ada! I’m alaways inspired by the sea…and by the sea posts. Big hugs
