As of late, I’ve been wearing flats much more often than high heels. I walk a lot and flats simply make my life easier. But the only problem was that the only kind of flats that I’ve worn and loved so far were ballerinas. As autumn is finally claiming its rights, but as it’s not quite yet the time for boots, I knew that the only natural choice would be the classic Derbys or Oxfords. Yes, I like to change the rules around by playing with the accessories and this dressy, masculine inspired style never looks as good as in autumn, the height of fashion, when you become more sartorially conscious.
Last week I found my perfect pair of Derby shoes from Clarks. In elegant camel, they are exactly what I need and true to my personal style. They work beautifully with skinny jeans and they forge a great alliance with a most feminine pleated dress. The leather bracelet (another fall obsession) is Cristhelen B. by Musette.

As yummy as a toffee. 🙂 Enjoy wearing your new beauties! xxx
Love the camel colour… Oxfords are definitely on the list for me also as I tend to prefer flats much more these days. Hope you’re enjoying your dayx
How did I miss the leather bracelets from Musette? I was there a couple of days ago looking for an oxblood tote, true, but I checked the accessories as well…hmmm. I think this shoes will totally complete your look, Ada :*

i love the shoes. but not very fond of flats other than thong. i have big calves, so heels are more perfect.

I love Oxford shoes. i’m wearing a pair too right now :-). Ada, those seem very comfortable.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Ada, I do the same thing during fall/winter: I trade my beloved ballerinas for some equally comfortable and stylish brogues! The model you got is so nice: sleek design and perfect colour! I’m sure you’ll enjoy thema lot!
