Not a very happy picture for someone who loves summer as much as I do and who only wants to see snow around Christmas time. It has been snowing constantly (with only a few pauses now and then) since the end of January and it seems that it’s going to be this way until the end of this month. It’s simply too much to bear, the frosty weather worsening things. I’m leaving you now, especially those of you who still get to think in terms of style and not layers upon layers these winter days, be inspired by a few NYFW street style looks. Any favourite collections so far? I have a couple I liked, but I’m anxiously waiting for a few more before I choose my favourites. I wish you a very good week and stay warm!

So many snow and cold must be horrible Ada! We’ve been having it here for two weeks and it starts melting today so I hope it goes away quick and won’t come back. I’ve had enough of it too. Hope Februari goes by quickly for you so you can embrace Spring.
About these street looks, they are fabulous. That’s the way to pack for snow;) I particularly love the first two. Have a great week!
My favourites would be Alexander Wang, Prabal Gurung and Jason Wu ๐
Good morning Ada! I completely understand you and, even if in Brux we didn’t have a lot of snow, it is freezing! After the Christmas holidays, I was ready to think about spring (and SS wardrobe), but I think we all have to wait for another month…Regarding NYFW, unfortunately I didn’t have a lot of time to look at the collections, but so far I really liked Suno for the prints and Tibi for the minimal and polished silhouettes, but like you I want to see the rest of the shows before choosing my favourite designers & looks. Wish you a nice week!
I think having snow for a couple of months would be a lovely change! (maybe because it doesn’t snow in Melbourne central)…
I love that last picture of the cape and the wide brimmed fedora… definitely something I would wear around the cold cold weather.
Have a great day Ada.

I can’t name my favourites yet but there are a few looks that I’m liking. I love these street style photos you’ve pulled together, the first one is beautiful.
So many beautiful looks to enjoy on the streets of NYFW! I’m loving all of these looks and noting the fur trend and lots of layers. Sounds so cold over there Ada; it is pretty gloomy here too with rain forecast every day! Hope you had a lovely start to the week xx
“Cap ou pas cap” a grey cap? Such chic outfits for a weather like this! I prefer my UGG (don’t say a think, they are warm :)))))) and a wool chunky sweater!
PS: Ada, if you knew how to knit when you were little, you will remember! This scarf is my first try after 15 years, so…you can do it, also! ๐
so nice pics !! I will love if you come to see my page and follow me if you like it !
Happy Monday! I know the feeling of constant snow..here it is starting to become a little bit above zero degrees, but I also find my inspiration in looking at the layering ways in NY ๐ xoxo
I hope you get some sunshine soon! I love these photos you’ve shown. Maybe if I cuddle up in a fuzzy white collar, like in the fourth photo, winter won’t seem so bad : )
These pictures show that you can still be so incredibly chic no matter what the weather. I’m sure that’s the case for you. ๐
Stay warm, Ada! Hopefully warmer temps come your way soon. xoxo
I wish everyone around here to stay indoors as much as possible and take advantage of this time to become more creative.
OBSESS with the last hat!!!! too cute!!!!

We finally got the rain today and everything has melted. Now I don’t know what I prefer… I have a feeling your city looks gorgeous in the snow, though. I hope you are warm and can work from home.
Collections-wise, I liked a few looks so far (blogging about them tomorrow), but I’m waiting for Michael Kors and Ralph Lauren, just to name a couple of my favourite NY designers. Donna Karan wasn’t me at all this time, unfortunately…
Wishing you a wonderful week, darling!

These photos are proof that cold weather dressing can indeed be quite chic and fashionable. My NYFW faves so far – Jason Wu and Preen. I’m sure there will be more. Stay warm Ada and I hope the frosty weather and snow will let up by you soon.
This is just what I needed to read today! I am at a total loss of what to wear in the mornings (although thankfully the snow has stopped). Layers have been my best friend this winter but I so desperately want to be able to bend my arms again properly soon!
Great blog. Love the inspirational images.

i know you’re not a big fan of valentine’s, but hope you have a lovely day nonetheless! xoxo
It seems Europe is getting all the cold and snow we’ve been freed of.
I hope you had a wonderful day yesterday. I left home at 8:30AM and came back at 8Pm. Sorry I didn’t stop by yesterday.
Cyber hugs,
Julie
