I really like wearing a dress. I do. But not in winter when it’s freezing outside, not even for the holiday season, and not even when it is expected of me at some party or event I might attend. My go-to option? An elegant pair of trousers, high heeled shoes (I don’t shop at Zara for shoes, but these navy pumps are beautiful) or preferably boots, completed with a lightweight sweater and a leather-sleeved blazer for a meet-up with friends or with a sleek top (it can very well be a tailored vest) for a more formal party. From my selections, it seems that I gravitate towards black and navy. But isn’t that the chicest combination?

I do love black and navy, too, just brings the best out of both colours. And I love both looks here – very elegant. Hope you had a nice weekend, Ada. x
So pretty! Love it!
I love this combination. I haven’t worn my tuxedo jacket since we last met up, but the weather is finally getting chilly enough for it!

I hope you get to wear your tuxedo jacket more often, Mary Jo. It’s beautiful!
i am the same, i will wear dresses all summer long, but when it gets cold outside i just can’t. these are beautiful, i’d definitely wear either of these. xo
Have we already entered the season of the pre-autumn collections?!! I don’t think I have even covered half of the spring collections yet!!! I like the trousers so much, also the M.D. ones you linked to.
