Sticking with the Classics

winter style

Simple lines, good fabrics and hardly any jewellery at all. Easy, uncomplicated, natural style. “I’m sticking with the classics, and if somebody doesn’t like it, I can deal.” Glenn O’Brien, The Style Guy

As for that all-grey ensemble, sweater-jeans-scarf-shoes, Garance is sporting, that’s the ultimate winter look for me right now. I want to wear that to work, gatherings with friends and family Christmas party. And although I would most probably opt for pointed-toe pumps or cropped at the ankle boots, on account of the cold, I wish I could go for sandals, because I think the contrast between that graceful pair of shoes and the cosy scarf and sweater is the key to the entire look.
