It has a sporty feel to it, but it’s also feminine and chic – what I would call a beautiful marriage between the brand’s heritage and Alessandra Facchinetti’s own sensitivity. Simple, unstructured, light, playful. Summer elegance. I see some cobblestone streets in the picture, too, winding through Italian coastal villages, and a dazzling sun that you rather want to feel caressing your cheeks and shoulders than take cover from.
I loved Alessandra Facchinetti’s first collection for Tod’s. And I’ve always considered her one of the women designers who can bring something new, refined and highly identifiable to the fashion scene. I hope she will succeed to do that at the Italian fashion house.

I definitely imagine the Italian coastal villages in this dress… or even the British Virgin Islands…. lovely.
I’m definitely picturing that dress in the scenery you just described! This one has summer written all over it.
this is so pretty. i love pockets, even if i don’t use them i love knowing they are there. and the ones on this dress are fabulous.
I’m definitely a fan of Tod’s!
