The street is her scene

These photos make me long for a spring Sunday when I would love to ditch the skinny jeans and ballet flats and wander the almost deserted streets of the city in high heels and smart dressed. I love this downtown lady on the run editorial with Naomi Watts. I have a thing for the photography in motion, for the definitely studied, but seemingly spontaneous capture of the person in front of the camera. It looks more natural (the expressivity of black and white takes always helps) and thus enhances the beauty of it all, don’t you think?

A few scoops of style, fashion and design: High fashion on the big screen / a 70s refined sensibility at Gucci / a decor idea/ a fashion statement: Audrey’s Givenchy oriental hat / Burberry makes the perfect coats / the most stylish people at Milan Fashion Week / one of my daily reads: Fash n Chips / take this lovely lady’s advice and live your special moment every day / Olga Kurylenko plays with sublime chicness

photos: (Vanity Fair Italia, May 2010, Naomi was photographed by her brother, Ben Watts)
