“Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall.” F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby.
It definitely got crisp in town. As much as I love summer, living in a climate that usually means sweltering weather in summer, forcing you to avoid spending time outside because of the blazing sun, autumn comes as a breath of fresh air. It’s time for tweeds and herringbone and houndstooth, for all the shades of brown and for all that array of accessories that make fall fashion so rich and classy. Have you noticed how strikingly blue the sky is on a clear autumn day? I’m wishing for a long autumn to enjoy all the outdoor activities the season calls for. Have a wonderful weekend!
