The barefoot beauty

La belle aux pieds nus – it sounds so much better in French, n’est-ce pas? Styled by Carine Roitfeld in one of her collaborations with Marc Hispard for French Glamour, these images usher me into summer. Don’t they make you dream yourself away under the beckoning blue skies, maybe on the shores of France or Italy, impersonating a barefoot contessa?
All set for a new week after a lovely weekend I hope? I’m having a pretty good start off: I’ll be hearing the sound of crashing guitars tonight as we’re going to a Roxette concert:)

A few more scoops of fashion, design and lifestyle: this lovely post makes me long for irresistible Paris / instant style: Tom Ford’s Nikita cat eye sunglasses / feminine details and masculine cuts: a statement look / a celebration of the art of looking good: Fashion Drawing in Vogue / these Vionnet sandals / a beautifully told story: Heritage with Diana Dondoe / and because we’re in the middle of Roland Garros, fashion court news: Maria Sharapova is launching her own fashion collection : “If everyone is wearing black, I want to be wearing red.” / this summer I’ll make sure I’ll enjoy many outdoor dinners / how nice it would look in my office this fashionable art / “to eat intelligently is an art”: I couldn’t agree more.
