It’s been all over the spring collections runways. And it’s taken over the streets as well. The relaxed ’70s glamour has a big comeback. There is just something so carefree and fun about this style, maybe because it emerged in a decade when the democratization of fashion was in full swing. The flared jeans, the floppy hats, oversized sunglasses and silk bow blouses are my very personal pieces of choice, as I prefer the sophisticated look to the boho look. And for an extra glam, there is the utmost luxurious and stylish inspiration, the ’70s fashion of Yves Saint Laurent, the one who brought sheer clothing and pussy-bow blouses in fashion, among other numerous innovations. Are you already embracing this huge spring trend? Wishing you a great new week!
The hat, in blushing shades, so pretty and refreshing.
How can we overlook the streamlining effect of the flared jeans? Flattering and stylish.
The bow, for a plus of femininity.
A few scoops of style, fashion and design: “She was hypnotically watchable, and when the part and the personality coincided, she was untouchable.” Remembering Elizabeth Taylor / point of view: models are too skinny, too sad And isn’t Hervé Léger right?/ look of the week : don’t you love it?/ a look at Elin Kling’s apartment / a classy and fabulous combination: burgundy and slate gray / a little wardrobe wisdom from Edith Head / retro glamour beauty / Carine Roitfeld for Barneys / as a film and fashion lover, I find this book a must-have and must-read

Oh yes…my favourite trend this season!
of course, i like very much that style !!
and thanks for the link to article hervé leger, it’s so interesting to learn about his mind, Karl lagerfeld and the models !!
see you ….
this post is so much fun, love the hat and the jeans 😉
And thanks for that book tip. I’ve added it to my wish list.
Hi Ada! Definitely! I’m really love the 70’s resurgence! I don’t usually wear anything other than leggings or skinny jeans but those flare jeans are so tempting and they look really flattering! I also love the pictures of the pink floppy hats! Pretty! I really enjoyed the links too; I’m reading the Herve Leger interview now and his comment about models too skinny are kind of overreacting in my opinion. Oh, and I added the book “Dressed: A century of Hollywood Costume Design” to my wishlist! Great choice! Hope you’re feeling better and wishing you a great Monday! xoxoxoo

omg, i just died. i’ve been looking near and far for a hat just like THAT for an upcoming vaca. gosh, love the flowiness of the hat and it’s so classic!
That blond walking where I was walking yesterday… I totally love her relaxed style. I went to see YSL exhibition yesterday. Sweet inspirations. Posting shall follow.
Love all of these photos! Such great inspiration for spring fashion this season!
I keep seeing these 70s inspired jeans, and I adore them…I think this is my final hint that I need to go out and find some of my own 🙂

I ABSOLUTELY loooove those hats!
…and turquoise 😉 …with no connection between the two! haha
Have a fabulous and joyful week!
the 4th image is perfect. definitely my style. i don’t know if i could pull off the floppy hat, but i’m loving the wide-leg jeans + oversized clutches! your links are great too, btw – i thought a lot about leger’s comment on models. the cut put a pic of cindy crawford modeling leger in 1993 next to a leger model of today and it’s unreal to see the difference! hope you’re having a wonderful day, dear!

I love that floppy hat but fear I am too short to pull it off. Will contemplate.
The seventies fashion is absolutely my favorite style. I also love home accessories that have some seventies influence like Waylande Gregory Studios.
Love those hats!
