How about showcasing spring’s vivid fashion in a sun-kissed trench coat or a beautiful blouse, extravagantly tailored (which adds a luxe edge even to short pants)? I’m all for it. It’s about time to give a try to a trench coat in a different color than beige or black and bright yellow would capture a chic look at its best. A breath of fresh air (the waist ribbon in the image below adds that extra touch). This legendary item, a classic icon of style, portrayed in so many memorable movies, continues to have a seductive appeal season after season. What about you? What trench color seduces you this spring?
Cred ca e timpul sa incerc si alta culoare in afara de bej si negru cand vine vorba the trench.
I’m always a bit frightened of wearing yellow, but your examples of a very beautiful – and so sunny!
Aaaaaahhh…. That blouse is so beautiful!!! I want one like this. Speaking of trenches, am really into yellow and orange ones at the moment, so if one pops up somewhere, I will certainly be very tempted. Otherwise, will have to do with my cream one instead, but add yellow dresses. xxx
Dear Ada, I love yellow! I abslutely adore it and it always whispers “Spring” to me. I have this airy YSL top in pale yellow silk I have been longing to wear for months now! It is cold and rainy in New York and Spring is nowhere to be found! Thank you for the wonderful post full of inspiration and color!
@Anya
Today is the warmest day we’ve had in months, hope it will last. So I guess I was a little influenced by it for this sunny post. 🙂
fabulous yellow outfits and Christel’s photography; that’s a good combination 😉
What a happy post, love it! Thanks also, for being inspired and sharing my tulip photo’s:) Just send you an email with a little problem I have with your blog:s
And about the trench, a bright colored one would be great though I think you get over that one very quickly. I think I would never have a problem putting on a neutral colored one every day, which I would have with a bright colored one…
that last yellow top – i’ve been in LOVE since i seen it last year – i DREAM of finding ut who in the world makes it!!!
PS … LAST DAY TO Join Custom Sign Give-Away HOPE YOU ALL WILL!

I love trenches in their classic colour – beige. As seen on Audrey Hepburn in “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”. Just perfect!

very nice with a white bottom…and perfect with a tanned (summer) skin, i find !
I am desperately in need of yellow color right now… I want yellow socks, yellow coats, yellow everything 😉
All of these pieces are gorgeous! I love the yellow but will have to think if it will go with my skin tone or not… Such a fun thing to contemplate!
I love it! I have one in red, but now that I read your post, I want one in yellow too!!!
It’s such a beautiful color to sport for spring! I especially love pale yellow colors in clothes and bright yellows in accessories! The last picture makes me smile 🙂 xoxoxoxo
These are gorgeous! Love that yellow coat! Enjoy the fabulous weekend, Kellie xx
culoarea asta ma fascineaza, insa nu m-am decis inca daca am curajul sa o port.
uhm…:)
a trench in a bright colour is definitely a fashionable option and a step aside from the usual beige/grey ones…but is it really worth it? yes, indeed, it gives you a fresh input, but I don’t see it as a piece that would last, so I would spend on it… would you see yourselves wearing a kiwi green trench in 5 years now? 🙂
@Rox
I agree, a bold colored trench coat is not a timeless item, I myself have a beige one and black one and I usually invest in natural, classic colors I can count on for many years. It’s just sometimes I like to step out of my comfort zone and play a little bit with fashion. 🙂
