About the only time I like to talk about trends and take them into consideration is when I spot something that would anyway have the chance to make its way to my wardrobe. Knitwear for spring – light, breathable, yet smart. A piece of clothing that will carry a bit of winter style elegance into the carefree warmer months will always hold something special for me (I must admit I have a thing for a texture that’s slightly unexpected for the season, like knitwear in spring and summer and silk in winter – try something different!). A knitted fabric transforms a casual short-sleeved top or t-shirt into something much more than a basic casual piece, without forgoing its sense of ease and outdoorsy spirit. As for a simple knitted dress that is form-fitting but not constricting, it speaks of a cool elegance, and who doesn’t like that?
