It has an intriguing name: Scandalous Lover. It comes in the most beautiful, rich shade of red (different from the scarlet red it appears in the photo): “this deep, but bright red will satisfy your most wicked intentions…” It is 4FREE, which means it contains no formaldehyde, DBP/dibutyl phthalate, toulene or camphor (moreover, the products are never tested on animals). It applies smoothly and evenly (even in three coats), it doesn’t have that chemical nail polish smell, it glistens on your nails and it lasts. It is only natural that I fell in love with it the minute I glided it on, because I know the care and passion Mary Jo Matsumoto puts into all her products.
The Mary Jo Matsumoto Scandalous Lover nail varnish is a beauty product that is meant to make you feel loved and caressed. It will be my favourite accessory this winter, along with my softest cashmere shawl. And because beauty and health must go hand in hand, I can truly say that I will feel better wearing a nail polish now. It will be my daily luxury.

That is quite a stunning scarlet red! Hmmm, I think it would go well in summer too 🙂
The colour looks beautiful and the shawl too.
I don’t know what it is, I just cannot wear red nail polish; I feel so exposed somehow. I love red colours on others and wish they would suit me but they don’t.
That’s such a great name and it is scandalously red and perfect for Xmas!

Red nail polish is always a fabulous choice, Ada! Now, you’ve made me curious about these 4free nail polishes Mary Jo is selling: have to add one in my chart :))) Have a lovely day! :*
Wowzer! That shade of red really means business! I love how pretty it looks against the soft cream cashmere!
Such a gorgeous shade of red! True classic! x
Oh wow….the name alone makes me want to buy it
Hope you are having a splendid day.
wow that is so cool, how does she make nail polish? she is full of surprises!
Ada, I’m so glad that you are enjoying the polish! I never considered myself to be a red polish person, but since wearing this color, it’s my go-to color every manicure–and this from someone who wore pale pink for the last few decades! Ha, I guess change is good. Wishing you a wonderful week–can’t wait to see an outfit pic of you wering the polish!
xoxo Mary Jo
Red and nude are the only nail polish colours I wear. I started wearing red a few years ago and it’s become a classic for me. 🙂
