Romy Schneider: a portrait + a timeless look

These are two of my favourite images of Romy Schneider. The first one is a portrait by artist Andreas Reimann. It’s called Romy Classic and it’s part of his series Hommage to Romy Schneider: “this face, what I call the ‘Romy Classic’ never let go of me. Is it sad? Filled with pride or arrogance? Does she have a slight smile on her lips…?  Her mysterious face has often been compared with the look of Mona Lisa.” The second one is a photo of Romy in Chanel taken in 1962 after a visit to 31 Rue Cambon, Paris. Is there anything more elegant?
