Layering soft, delicate textures and knitwear, doesn’t this bear the most cozy feeling of autumn in it? It still feels like summer here, but I’m starting to envision the definitive swift to fall soon, hoping for the sunny days, however chilly they may get, to last long, long into the season. I also loved this photoshoot of Reese Witherspoon for its relaxed, natural look, the new editorials I really like are fewer and fewer these days and I always prefer the black and whites because the airbrushing is so much less obvious. It makes me dream of a weekend in a charming mansion in the English countryside. Have you already fully embraced autumn in your part of the world?

These are stunning shots of Reese; she is utterly stunning. I love the black and white photography too! We are just starting Spring, so the weather is just starting to warm up which is such a lovely change on this side of the world! xx
absolutely beautiful photographs …
and yes, they should maybe start going a little easier on the airbrushing, it tends to get really tiring
So beautiful! I love the combination of cozy knits and lacier pieces. This is how I’d love to look on fall weekends. Thanks for the inspiration!
It’s such a gorgeous editorial! She looks adorable and just so cozy and snuggled up. We’re about to get our first true taste of autumn later tonight after a storm passes through. I’m pretty excited about it 🙂
I am so embracing! Fab pics – i love Reece – bright as a button x

Ada, this is the PERFECT spread for fall–not too heavy on the sweaters, still light and airy but heading to colder weather. Just lovely.
p.s. I am a zip bag girl too!

Love the white sweater and she looks lovely
Absolutely gorgeous captures from Reese. That nonchalant hair and the cozy sweaters, oh it makes me so in the mood for lazy cold days! And yes, Fall is here. Past few days were very sunny and the leafs are starting to change colors too, so I’m a happy girl. Hope your lovely Fall is coming soon too.

I kept this editorial, too. Loved the first and last photo and the cover shot, too. I think I’m finally ready for autumn, got some cosy basics to wear at home (HATE being cold and British homes are pretty chilly in winter) and things to wear out. The only thing I wish I could skip through is November… Too much rain for my liking, waaaaaaaaay too much rain.

i get the feeling of a relaxed photo shoot. which makes me feel nice about it.
would love to see this type of approach more often in the magazines
She looks so beautiful and effortless! I need one of these chunky sweaters for fall! xx
Beautiful portraits of Reese! I love that they choose to put her in black and white..very alluring indeed! It’s great to catch up with your posts again Ada..my comments have been late and I’m sorry. Work and school are very demanding and I hardly find time to do even blog updates. But I appreciate your comments and they mean a lot to me! Lots of love! xoxoxoxoo
@Shin
Oh, don’t worry, Shin. Everyone’s priorities vary from time to time, so I perfectly understand. Good luck with your work and studying and I hope you find time for your blog too. xoxo
Black and white, totally my favorites! Did you see water for the elephants?I think that’s lately Reese got a lot of magazine covers and editorial now and this is because of the above mentioned movie;) I like her very much and I am glad you showed us this marvelous pictures of fall. The weather today is clearly announcing the Fall, it’s here, let’s go shopping this weekend, girls! Have a nice one:*
@fashionsensitive
No, I didn’t see Water For Elephants, I didn’t get the chance to go to the cinema when it was running. My brother did see it however and liked it. And he knows movies even better than I do. 😉 Yes, I’m sure that’s one of the reasons she’s on many covers, this always happens, it’s part of the promotional campaign.
