Portraits by Bruce Weber

Bruce Weber’s photography is occasionally in colour. He prefers black and white. His entire portfolio speaks volumes, but his black and white works are simply overwhelming. With a theater and filmmaking education background, he began photographing ads and commercials for Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein in the late 1970s, becoming the preeminent photographer of the fashion industry in the ’80s and he continues to be one of the world’s most famous and influential photographers, his work being displayed in permanent exhibitions at Victoria and Albert Museum in London and at the Museum of Modern Art in Paris. For today I’ve selected a few of his portraits of people from the film, fashion and music industries. They are beyond beautiful, truly ravishing.
Have a wonderful weekend!
