Here are my latest finds and news from style, fashion, film, design and beautiful living.
Just the kind of shop that simply makes your day just by passing it by. I’ve seen interior photos of the Flower Girl NYC many times, but never the lovely shop front and street that nestles it. Doesn’t it inspire you to stop and find the joy in the little things?

oh those exposed brick walls are so amazing. it’s definitely something that’s missing in my house for sure. i wish. i wish.
Thank you for the links! I just read the article about fashion models. And though I do like Kate Upton very much, I am afraid she is still a plus size and one-off and much bigger than Linda, Naomi or Cindy were. Those girls were still 90-60-90 and the requirement is still exactly the same these days. So don’t think things will be changing any time soon and frankly, I don’t mind. I like it the way it is. x
Yes, Kate Upton is a plus size model, she certainly can not be compared to Linda, Cindy or Naomi. And yes, they were 90-60-90, and I wouldn’t want that to change either. But they were fit, not skinny (I mean scary skinny), that’s the difference between them and so many models nowadays.
Oh the Jean Patou book would be a fabulous read- Yep on the list! I loved the reading the return to form of the supermodel article; I must say though, I don’t think anyone can compare with the original supers. Our first home had an exposed brick wall which was great; very industrial. How gorgeous is that Flower Girl article! Love it. Great links Ada:)
