Here are a few finds and news from fashion, film, design, photography and beautiful living.
• A campaign I like: Fendi spring 2012, featuring Arizona Muse, photographed by Karl Lagerfeld
• Yesterday was the official opening of the 62nd edition of The Berlin Film Festival (February 9-19). Diane Kruger looked stunning in her Giambattista Valli gown at the premiere of her movie, Farewell, My Queen, in which she portrays Marie Antoinette.
• The Sartorialist II, Scott Schuman’s second book will be released in September. Can’t wait! His first one has a special place on my bookshelf.
• On my agenda this weekend: My Week with Marilyn
• Lovely ideas for the kitchen
• Not smoking is stylish. And if you don’t believe me, read Garance’s post, it’s an old one (though only yesterday discovered by me), but so right on the point
• Editorial: Uma Thurman by Peter Lindbergh for the February issue of Vogue Italia
• Beautiful photography: Lisa’s white Antwerp
• Currently reading: Alan Alda’s Things I Overheard While Talking To Myself
• Inspiring: a bright mid-century home
Have a wonderful weekend!

Gorgeous hair! Have a lovely weekend ahead, Kellie xx
I love the Sartorialist and have his first book. Can´t wait for the second one. I´m also planing on seeing some movies and I must say, My Week with Marilyn is on the agenda as I think Michelle Williams is an extraordinary actress. Enjoy the weekend! xoxo
Hahahaha, can’t believe it, I was just thinking about the movie with Marilyn before reading your post, in the morning at the radio, they were saying about the imdb points of it 😉 Have a nice weekend, Ada! :*
Another beautiful ad campaign with Arizona Muse. That girl is really beginning to grow on me after the Alberta Ferretti one which I couldn’t stand. Don’t get me wrong, I liked the clothes but those ads annoyed the very core of my being!
I don’t own Scott’s first book but I’ve the feeling the new one will be even better.
Thanks for the link love, glad you liked my photos 😉 I’m off to check the other links.
Have a wonderful Friday!
I think the second one will be better too, Lisa. And there’s also the excitement of those photos which have not been published on his blog, this will make the book all the more interesting.
Thank you for the links, darling. I completely missed the news about the book! So exciting…. As for the images… Well, you know how we tend to choose the same ones to like… 😉
Have a wonderful day, sweetie! Stay warm!

I love the Fendi ad too! And can’t wait to hear how My Week With Marilyn is. It’s on my calendar for the end of the month, the day before the Oscars 🙂
Have a great weekend, Ada! xoxo
it feels as if it was a Fellini movie… Have a great weekend!
It does, it has a very special feeling, that’s my exact impression too, Elie. 🙂
Ahh, Arizona Muse and Fendi. What more can a girl ask for?! Maybe Arizona, Freja and Fendi, haha.
Imi place la nebunie blogul tau, intr-adevar clasic. 🙂

Multumesc, Jo. Ma bucur ca iti place. 🙂
Ada, I love the vintage film feel to those campaigns you posted–so beautiful and most of all, am loving that link to the midcentury beauty! That kind of styling, an eclectic mix of spanish architecture and bright colors with midcentury classics is my favorite way to see those pieces updated! Happy weekend to you–hope you stay nice and warm!

Hi Ada,
These images are riveting – I can’t stop looking at them. The composition and lighting are fabulous! Thank you for all the links. I do not consider myself very stylish at this moment in my life 🙂 but I do consider you my #1 place for appreciating beautiful style.
Thank you, Georgianna. 🙂
These shots are absolutely gorgeous and I just as much like the editorial with Uma. That one looks so mysterious. Great plan to go see My week with Marilyn, tell us your thoughts please;)
