The month of June has been rich in summer adventures like trips to the countryside, hikes in the mountains and a beautiful sunrise on the beach. Summer should be lived out slowly, it’s too short and too longed for during the rest of the year and every moment is worth celebrating. Here are my latest finds and news from style, fashion, film, photography and beautiful living. Have a wonderful weekend!
• A special thank you to Francisca Mattéoli for the mention on her blog in such great company
• Woody Allen opens up about playing the romantic lead, the hit-flop trap and why he just can’t quit the business. Here is the trailer of his new film, Blue Jasmine, starring Cate Blanchett and Alec Baldwin, which will be released in July.
• My idea of going to the movies: a secret cinema
• Francis Ford Coppola takes us to an Italian heaven, his Palazzo Margherita hideaway
• The Awesome Project: “an experimental journey through the awesome milky-silky world of porcelain, with a touch of Romanian folklore.” Individually designed and hand-decorated.

Beautiful photographs Ada. You have a great eye!
x
Ada, first of all, congratulations on the mention – I know how happy and appreciated it made you feel (and it made me feel sunshine inside just to imagine your joy). And those photos… How beautiful!!!! x
How wonderful to see more photos from your weekend! Feels like a dose of the essence of summer.
Love that safari chair (been a little obsessed with safari-anything lately) and don’t get me started on all the bowls and vases which I found when viewing ‘the awesome project’ link. And the porcelain bangles, oh my, I may have to spend the rest of the day admiring that link!
Have a wonderful weekend!
what gorgeous photos! i finally just captured a close up shot of a honey bee myself. these all really capture the feeling of summer. the tennis racket, the boat photos and the wheat are just so stunning! and i so agree about enjoying summer. personally it’s my favorite season.
Sounds and looks like you’ve been having a wonderful summer, Ada! I agree, summer is always too short, so enjoy and make the most of it!xx
How beautiful that Palazzo Margherita is… I think it was where Sofia Coppola got married last year? That photograph is just gorgeous too. I’ll meet you at the cinema – that’s fantastic !! 🙂
Ada, you need to think about photography! Photos are beautiful. By the way, last week I watched a movie “Cold Souls” by independent new director Sophie Barthes and I thought you might enjoy the film even through I think the director didn’t open completely the topic or soul and russian soul.
This time I’m not going to comment on your links – which I know are great as usual – but on your wonderful pictures! Like in your previous ‘sunset’ post, you have a great talent for photography and you should share your portraits more often!
