Here are my latest finds and news from fashion, film, design and beautiful living.
“Summer just opens the door and lets you out.” Kinfolk Magazine’s beautiful ode to summer.
• In conversation: Sofia Coppola on protecting privacy. Her new film, The Bling Ring, critiques a celebrity-obsessed generation that overshares and hyperconsumes. “It just seems like this trash culture is becoming acceptable as mainstream culture.” How right she is unfortunately.
• A new fashion collaboration: Isabel Marant for H&M
• When in Dublin
• I wish teenagers today understood the beauty of this film: The Perks of Being a Wallflower
• Craftsmen at work: Extrusion Bowls by Apparatu
• Gorgeous wrapping cloth by Hannah Waldron
• A beautiful home. How about the recipe written on the wall?
I’m taking a short break from blogging, but, until Monday, there is still a great classic film feature to enjoy on Classiq this weekend. I wish you a wonderful rest of the week!

Hi Ada 🙂
Going to check out all these links now over some tea.

I think the news I was most excited about were the Galliano’s interview, the upcoming TV documentary that was filmed yesterday and Isabel Maran for H&M. 🙂 Off to check the links.
Enjoy your little break, darling!

One can always count on the Kinfolk people to inspire with nature and a natural way of living philosophy. Such a lovely video, and such a wonderful contrast to all the vulgarity and noise out there.
Absolutely loved reading the conversation between Coppola and Radziwill. I will have to see Sofia’s new film.
That bowl link had me swooning quite a big. I have a soft spot for bowls and atelier photos. So inspiring.
Lovely links as always, Ada, enjoy your break!
Loved that interview Sophia Coppola did in the new York Times, she seems so quiet and private and clever. Funny how those bling kids broke into Paris Hilton’s house twice and the first time she didn’t even notice!
i love that video Ada! I have all ready for a blog post tomorrow but it looks like anything but summer here today. It is pouring down rain. And thanks for the movie recommendation, I have not seen “the perks of being a wallflower” yet because I wasn’t sure about it but now I can put it on my list. Enjoy your break!
The Kate Moss photo is brilliant. Love this clip, too. Thanks for posting and feel free to drop by me anytime.
Loved the article on Sofia Coppola, really made me think about the future xo
