Here are my latest finds and news from fashion, film, design, photography and beautiful living.
Ali Harper is an Atlanta-based photographer specialized in lifestyle photography. What I love the most about her style is that she shoots on film because of “its unmatched quality and organic look”. Her photos have a story to tell and the stories they tell feel so genuine and real. Not to mention that her photos taken in Italy (Florence in the top picture and Lake Como bottom left in the set above) make me long for a trip back.
Above: a beautiful home drenched in the Californian sunshine and a healthy and inspiring lifestyle: at home with Shiva Rose, as seen through the lenses of Jamie Beck.
• I loved reading this interview with Robert Redford, about beeing again the artist at work with his new film, The Company You Keep, about life, success and his regret of not having done another movie with Paul Newman
• I wouldn’t mind having this as my work space
• Sieff Fashion: 1960-2000, by Barbara Sieff and Ira Stehmann, a wide-ranging collection of the work of photographer Jeanloup Sieff
• A few very welcome ideas of flower arrangements for spring

Love Ali Harper. I found flower photos taken by her for some wedding and I fell flat for her work.
I have already repinned some of the Jamie Beck photos from you. Just beautiful.
Natalia’s post was fantastic. It’s about time someone said something.
Wouldn’t mind having that workspace as well.
Now it’s time for latte and the Redford interview. Recently I watched an old interview with Paul Newman where he was telling this funny story about him and Redford working together again. If only they had!
Beautiful images.
This year is the Italy year, so your photos, Ada, just make me think about sun and summer, no rain, please! I like a lot the photography she took, have to check her out. And speaking about California, do you think they are keeping all that sun for themselves? 😉 Kisses
Hi Dear Ada,
Lavender is always so inspiring and romantic and when combined with stone houses is like a dream. Cyber hugs to you,
Julie
All the images are beautiful. Shiva’s home is really nice. Robert Redford always was so excitiing …and classy.
Thanks, Ada, for the links.
Wow I utterly enjoyed the Robert Redford interview! Just wonderful!! Loved the Fashioned by Love post also – and totally agree with the sentiment! :)x
