Here are a few of my latest finds and news from fashion, design, style, film and beautiful living.
• The fashion weeks are almost here, which means the street style show will reach its climax too as it happens every six months. Russian beauty, fashion designer and style icon Ulyana Sergeenko is a unique presence, always. Above, photographed by Tommy Ton during the Paris Couture Week for style.com.

• This Kendall Conrad shop in Los Angeles is my idea of chic
• Charlize Theron is a beauty heroine in a Mark Seliger editorial lensed for the January issue of Elle France. Have you noticed the trousers?
• Architect Odile Decq has transformed part of the 136-year-old Opera de Paris Garnier into a futuristic-inspired restaurant
• A refined workspace, and how you can recreate it
• Film meets fashion: Pedro Almodóvar stars in the Missoni Spring 2012 campaign, a reflection of the fact that the collection was inspired by the Spanish culture. I like to see something out of the ordinary in fashion ad campaigns.
• And here are the Academy Awards nominees
• An easy, healthy recipe for home-made pesto I will definitely incorporate into my cooking
• As long as Scott Schuman cared to share his favourite shop in Paris, why not pay a visit if you have the chance to Comptoir de l’image?
• Your home away from home: The Greenwich Hotel, New York City. You can see a larger photo gallery here
• A delightful, new (to me) way of serving crêpes

Ulyana is a real style icon for me…I loooove her…she’s flawless
I love love love Charlize Theron! Checking these all out now!
The Kendall Conrad pop up store is amazing! the black and white looks so sophisticated! Off to take a look at your links xx
I love that bathroom from the Greenwich hotel and also the crepes are very nice (if you serve them with something sour)! I always thought that Charlize is a true beauty! And to tell you the truth, now that I need some ideas for the decorations in my apartment, those photography are a good one! Your notebook is very a wonder, Ada! :*
Ulyana Sergeenko has such a unique, lady-like style. To me, she seems to be born to wear the original Monsieur Dior and Cristóbal Balenciaga’s creations and silhouettes. Peonies are my favourite flowers and that LA shop looks so beautiful!
Yes, I see her wear original Dior and Balenciaga creations and silhouettes too. I am a huge admirer of Cristóbal Balenciaga and I wish the fashion house has taken a different direction nowadays.
Nobody wears those dresses better than Ulyana. She is so unique.
And that shop! I thought it was somebody’s office first, it’s really gorgeous. Those pictures in white frames against white wall and a bunch of peonies are incredibly elegant. Very you.

How awesome is Ulyana Sergeenko? I don’t dress like her at all but I love her style, she’s so unique.
However, I must confess that the peonies in this post fascinate me the most. I cannot wait to get peonies back into my life when the ‘peonies season’ starts 😉
She is such a stunner and has beyond impeccable taste. And that shop looks like heaven on eart to me 🙂 Happy Thursday, Ada! xoxo
Ada, the shop is so chic indeed. And with the peonies. Very lovely.
It is always so nice to receive a message from you on House of Tulips. Thanks so much for visiting.
Have a great day.
Thanks for sharing all the great links. I will give the home made pesto a try! xoxo
Ulyana Sergeenko is such an amazing example of style, I LOVE her ladylike looks. The printed frames from the home office idea were very inspiring, thanks 😉 And I’m definitely writing down that book store to visit my next time in Paris. It sounds like HEAVEN. Maybe I should save a little extra too;)
Hi Ada! How are you? I noticed that your blog is looking amazing these days! I love that link about creating a refined workspace as I’m thinking of decorating my bedroom. Great ideas! xoxoxoo
