Today’s Notebook pages are entirely dedicated to Christmas.
• Trine Thorsen photography: Norwegian Christmas (click on the arrows to see the full story)
• Creative Christmas: love the idea of message in a glass bauble
• Cocktail to try over the holidays: hot bourbon apple cider (discovered via LatteLisa). Bonus: I liked the reflections shared along, on moderation when it comes to healthy eating: “I want to replace the notion of moderation with one of balance.”
• A light dessert like blueberry lime panna cotta is so welcome after an overindulging Christmas meal
• Favourite holiday activities (I almost wish for snowed-in days for this): playing chess, rummy or scrabble (new in)
• If you have any more parties to attend, this is my favourite festive outfit: top, tuxedo pants and heels or this Kate Moss for Mango look (no, not even for those few minutes I would have to walk I’m not venturing to wear a dress in this weather).

I love the links Ada. And the tux is definitely in my wardrobe now. Sadly I couldn’t find the right pair of tux pants, so I’m making do with skinny black jeans, but I found a tux jacket that I like and there’s another one on my list, so I guess it will be turning into a staple look in the next year for me. Hope you are staying warm!

The images are wonderful together, love them. I’m running out the door so I’m going to view your links better when I get back home.
Enjoy your day!
That Norwegian rustic Christmas is ferric, Ada :* And I am so happy that I found the pastryaffair site, I was looking for a good sweet something for Christmas except for gingerbread, I think I am going to do the pomegranate chocolate cake. Lovely tuxedo that of Kate Moss, I think you will look great in that outfit. I will be courageous and wear my new 20s sequins and fringe dress for NYE, I can’t wait to see it ready these days. Do you see the snow outside, auch?! :*
Yes, it’s snowing so beautifully, but i have the feeling I won’t enjoy it as much once I step outside. 🙂
That’s a beautiful simple table setting in the third image above. I’ve bookmarked that pannacotta recipe for next week! Thanks. And I love that Mango look for Kate- I’ve been eyeing off a white tux jacket for a couple of weeks now… Classic! :)x
I adore these decorations so much. They are incredibly simple, but so beautiful. I wish I had a vision like that. Thank you for the links – will be browsing them now.
Hope your week is going well, darling.

I also love the messages in the glass bauble for a bit of diy… Beautiful imagery Ada.

Dear Ada, this is the perfect Christmas-sy post! I’m leaving tomorrow for my holidays and I cannot wait to prepare the decoration at my family home! I completely understand your preference of watching the snow from a comfortable, warm place instead of being outside..!
These are such beautiful photos! They all have a feeling of natural elegance…I love it!
These are really helping me get into the holiday spirit. I can’t believe Christmas is less than 1 week away. So excited!
