Here are my latest finds from style, fashion, film, design and photography.
• A history of the pant suit in Vogue Encyclo, the online encyclopedia of Vogue Italia, monthly updated by its editors. Look how stylish and timeless this grey flannel suit is.
• The incredibly talented designer Anya Caliendo will present her new collection at the Premierre Classe in Paris, which will take place between January 21st-January 24th. I don’t know if there are any invitations left, but if you are in Paris in this period, it’s worth to take a chance and find out. Details here.
• Maybe it’s the ’20s inspiration I’ve been seeing in the spring and pre-fall collections, or Buz Luhrmann’s upcoming adaptation of The Great Gatsby which will be released at the end of the year, but I’m loving more and more my bob (have I bored you enough with it already?), especially now that I can also try a wavy style at home: DIY-curly locks
• A beautiful Daria Werbowy editorial lensed by Michael Thomspon
• It’s not a matter of size: a professional point of view on a controversial topic
• Paris 1962 : Yves Saint-Laurent et Christian Dior Les premières collections, by Jerry Schatzberg: a capture of the elegance of Yves Saint Laurent’s couture debut and Marc Bohan’s collection for Christian Dior
• Trends in interior design for 2012 include blending new and old, colourful accessories and natural materials. I love that last image, as it illustrates so well the above words.
• For my Romanian readers this is an inspiring blog I have discovered via Something like Anna
• It’s always a good time for a bit of Paris, especially when it comes in the form of the beautiful photography of Georgianna Lane

Beautiful photos and links Ada. I love that gray suit–what a classic! And I’d love to see the new collection of Anya’s hats–wow what a talent!

I am looking forward to reading more about the mighty pant suit! And even though I vowed never to have a bob again, your post has me second guessing this!
I’m loving the 20s styles right now too! At one point I was going to adopt it head to toe for spring/summer, but then decided that I’d get bored (or people will be bored of me), so the best choice was to mix everything up.
Thank you for the DIY link – I’ve seen some on youtube, but most of them are way too complicated for me to deal with.
Wishing you a wonderful day, my sweet!

I love the YSL woman at work look and am feeling the bob. I don’t know if I will even have the courage to do so, but it sure looks sophisticated and chic. Can’t wait for the Great Gatsby! xoxo
I love a fabulous well cut and great fitting pant suit; worn as a suit its chic and everlasting, worn separately can bring a stylish look to a simple jeans and shirt combo or fun top with ballet flats. Great pic. Love the Parisian photos too. Always more room for that! Thanks for those links.

PS: Great post yesterday…
These are fabulous! The hat is just divine! Enjoy the lovely day, Kellie xx
I love bob hairstyle, it’s so chic and lovely! This one on the photo looks gorgeous. But I don’t have the courage to cut my long hair… Maybe one day 😉
Best regards,
Joanna
This suit has always been one of my fave looks – i am so thinking of recreating it – fab recommendations as always – how gorgeous was that apartment in saint germaine – couldnt you just see yourself languishing in the window! xx

Beautiful finds as always Ada! I cannot wait until the Great Gatsby is released this year and completely understand your fascination with the bob – it is such a chic look, especially with a bit of texture added. I’m intrigued about the 2012 interior trends and excited to learn that grey & yellow will be big this year; I do love that combination xx
so many wonderful links! The editorial is beautiful. Glad you linked to Natalie’s blog post on the size. It was well written.
Cannot wait to see The Great Gatsby! Maybe I should read that book again just for the fun of it before the film premiers.
Everything is so elegant! =)

Those few caps of The Great Gatsby look amazing, haven’t red about the movie yet but now I definitely want to see it when it comes out. I agree about the grey suit, it looks so timeless. And happy to hear you like your bob haircut so much. Its always a good look but depending on your hairtype it can be quite some work (which it was in my case;). Love the Kelly Framel look.
Ah am loving that first coat. Gorgeous.
There are some beautiful reads here! Thank you for sharing, also those beautiful images of Paris!
I cannot wait for the Great Gatsby, looks amazing, also that gorgeous short curly hair is so feminine and stunning

I’m excited to see the new “Gatsby” as well. And that wavy bob is fantastic!
