Here are my latest finds and news from fashion, style, film, photography and beautiful living.
• European houses and designers have always dictated when it came to fashion and especially to haute couture, but in the fall of 1950 American designers unveiled clothing that had “taken on a quality of unmistakable elegance” which was also “unmistakably American”. Nina Leen captured American fashion at its finest.
• Loving this Maison Martin Margiella for H&M pattern-cut jacket
• Ealing: Light and Dark: celebrating the historic output of one of Britain’s most loved and most influential studios
• Bellagio by Antonio Berardi capsule collection
• Keep it simple: Julianne Moore in MMM for H&M
• Laid-back style with French Connection + I still haven’t found the Burberry-like owl printed tee or sweater, but isn’t this cute?
• Autumn’s delights: pumpkin risotto, roasted pumpkin salad and pumpkin soup
• To frame (one of those photos I instantly love): Fall in Stockholm

Love the Bellagio collection by Antonio Berardi, tiny as it is, but that topper is ideal – the perfect Italian Summer indeed! MMM jacket is gorgeous too – a nice touch to a simple oufit. Julianne Moore always looks so stylish. Those Nine Leen photos really capture the neat, fifties silhouettes succinctly don’t they… everything looks so perfect. Pumpkin risotto ..mmm, anything pumpking really! Great links Ada thanks for sharing:)x
Thank you for wonderful links, Ada! I think the jacket you picked is my favourite piece, too. Plus it would suit girls who aren’t as tall as models (pointing at self here) because I felt that other designs would really require certain height and type of figure in order to look right. The FC tee is adorable! I will need to look at it in a shop some time.
And definitely huge yes to all things pumpkin! I haven’t checked your recipe yet, but I do make my own roasted pumpkin and sage risotto around Halloween (sort of a special dinner thing) often followed by profiteroles because they look a bit like tiny pumpkins. 🙂
Have a beautiful day!

Happy Thursday! I just love the MMM for H&M collection…see some interesting wanna haves 🙂 xo
I really enjoyed viewing the Nina Leen photographs and the Bellagio video is very inspiring. I hadn’t seen the MMM for H&M and saw two skirts that I wouldn’t mind trying on – that is, if this isn’t one of those collections where people will stand in line to get in to buy!
Beautiful links Ada–you are selling me on the MMM collection, although I do hate competing with the H&M crowds. I am going to see if I can find a jacket, everything I’ve seen so far looks amazing. I also like your owl alternative–so cute! Now to click over for those pumpkin recipes! Hope you are having a wonderful week!

i love all those glorious photos from meghan at wishful thinking, that one you pinned is so fantastic!
Ada, I’m going to pass the pumpkin suggestion to Mr. NJAPD, who loves to experiment in the kitchen! Thanks for sharing these links and your favourite pieces of the H&M and MMM collaboration. Personally (and I should add thankfully after my ‘raid’ at the Marni capsule collection…), there are only few pieces that I really like, and they are all in the trousers department, plus the maxi clutch that I find funny!
