Prints. Matched with prints. And how beautiful they look! Feminine, but not over-the-top. A look that carries the innocence of summer in such a sophisticated manner. I rarely wear prints and I never wear them together, but I wouldn’t hesitate to sport this outfit. It’s the kind of unexpected look that makes me step out of my comfort zone and try the unexpected, a trick that always elevates your style.
I love the other four looks I selected from the Nina Ricci Resort 2014 collection just as much. Floral and geometric prints clash in a pencil skirt that is paired with a simple black sweater, a two-toned, black and navy dress, backless and tied with a bow at the back, the most beautiful sundress that I could simply live in for the rest of the summer and the black gown that closed the show, strapless and with rosettes at the hem…just because. The make-up and hair-do are kept simple, because who likes to fuss about that on a long hot summer day? I hope you have a wonderful start to the week!

I love these images Ada! I had just saved some this morning when my email came from Modus Operandi. It’s all so beautiful, just in love with the prints and you’re right, the simple hair and makeup is perfect.

So beautiful, Ada … whenever I think of Nina Ricci I can’t help but remember the fragrance my mother always wore, her signature fragrance, Nina Ricci’s L’Aire du Temps and how lovely it was. I just love these prints, they’re stunning! Have a wonderful weekend, sweet! xo ~S

oh, how beautiful. i love these prints. i adore the geometric lines paired with the lovely florals and soft color palette.
The look in the top photo was my favourite from the selection. I wish I knew how to piece prints together like that; it’s masterfully done.
I cannot say that I have looked at many of the latest Resort Collections but this one was definitely one of my favourites … I always have a little soft spot for Nina Ricci.
I love that first look also… the small delicate shirt print matched with the large flower emblazoned on the skirt – just beautiful! ๐
Simply beautiful. Can I have the first look please?!
