It’s almost mid-November, the days have been moody, the kind of days that usually call for dark and rich details, like a red or burgundy nail polish, this one in particular. Instead, I’ve been wearing Naked State of Mind, by Mary Jo Matsumoto. Aerial and graceful, the shell pink colour is the perfect feminine touch to my tomboyish look I hardly stray away from during the cold months. But the beauty of its dusty transparency is that it goes with practically everything in your wardrobe, and while red nails may give character to an outfit, nude manages to conserve its style.
If you are not familiar with Mary Jo’s nail polishes yet, you should know that they are 4FREE, which means that they contain no formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate, toulene or camphor. Silky, glistening and lasting, they are the only nail varnishes I’ve been wearing for more than a year. Because whenever I find a favourite beauty product, I know it’s going to be a long-term relationship.

I love the way you photographed this Ada and am so glad you’re still loving the Naked State of Mind. I still wear it most weeks.

Yes, I’m still loving it, Mary Jo, and Scandalous Lover too. I only wish you had more beauty products in your line. 🙂
This is also one of my favorite nail polishes and the way you describe it is just perfect Ada!
Just liked your Facebook page 🙂

this is my favorite shade for nails. once in awhile i like a bright pink or red, but this to me is just the perfect color.
Beautiful shade and I really like the photo – that hint of colour against greys is just wonderful. x
