It’s been a challenge not to share this exciting news with you sooner, but today I can finally announce my collaboration with Mary Jo Matsumoto. I am honored to have been named brand ambassador and I am beyond thrilled that I have the chance to work with one of my favourite designers and to be associated with a brand of such high quality and values and which is in alignment with my own principles about fashion. I think many of you know that I’ve been a long-time admirer of Mary Jo’s designs and that I always write about brands that fit the aesthetic and beliefs that my blog portrays. Being part of the Mary Jo Matsumoto team is a recognition of my commitment to stay true to myself and to the things I believe in.
I hope you will join in my new adventure, because we have some wonderful things that we are looking forward to unfold. And now I would like to invite you to explore the Mary Jo Matsumoto newly launched website if you haven’t already, to discover The Bag Edit and my first installment, Summer is the time to brighten up!
Summer is also a time when even the classic and classy black and white reaches new heights in the hands of Mary Jo, feeling fresh and more chic than ever. One of Mary Jo’s latest lines, and one very dear to my heart, is the Salt Creek Collection, inspired by one of the most iconic beaches in South Laguna, California. With white enveloping the wave of dazzling summer rays like no other colour, and black giving it an elegant spin, and shapes suiting every occasion and time of day, it’s hard to even pick a favourite.
It could be the Salt Creek Shopper, that conveys a love of travel, work and fun; a new classic with a modern twist, clean-cut and simple, beautiful and functional. Or it could be the mini crossbody bag, so chic and practical that it’s rapidly becoming my go-to type of bag for the summer and a perfect replacement for the clutch at night. Or how about the fold-over clutch? Luxurious, yet effortless. I can see it part of so many of my outfits, as an element that ties them together, making them refined and put-together. I told you it was going to be hard to pick just one.
Wishing you a wonderful week!
