Marion Cotillard is a different kind of artist in this photoshoot, playing a photographer of a classic elegance in La Bastide de Marie in the South of France. Mysteriously beautiful. This is how I would usually describe her. She somehow always surprises me in the films, commercials or editorials she does, like there is always something new there to discover. The more you see her the less you seem to know about her. This discretion and mystery aura is a quality very few actors have now. For the musical Nine she says she turned to Audrey Hepburn for inspiration, who gave her “the hairdo with the big personality, the thick bangs, and the ponytail. You paint your character with colors you have taken from everywhere.” Yes, a talented actor does that.

I remember this shoot, it is so gorgeous. She certainly is mysterious and captivating. I recently saw her in “A good life” with Russel Crowe, loved it!!
I absolutely adore her and she has such an amazing talent! This is one of my favorite editorials in Vogue too, basically anything Grace Coddington styled! I love the one with the nude bathing suit! Everything she wears in this spread brings out old Hollywood glamour! xoxoxo
i love her – she’s unbelieveably gorgeous and an amazing actress! so versatile too.
Marion C is just so beautiful. She is a great actress. :)SArahD
Hi. I’m a stylist in LA and I’m totally obsessed with your blog. I’d love if you visited my new blog for multiple posts a day on all things fashion. I just moved to California after graduating back in south with a degree in visual merchandiser. In attempt to get my heel in the door, I’ve launched a site all about celebrity fashion and the trends that create it. Check out what Vanessa Hudgens was wearing when I ran into her last week and Olivia P’s breaking news. I’d love the support. I’m following you, I hope you’ll do the same. Thanks so much.

I quite agree, though have never thought of it that way before. She is naturally stunning and quite the talent, but love that there is always something new to discover about her. Each film that I have seen her in has magnified something unique about her… she is always elegant, though, and certainly one to watch!
I hope you are having a fabulous week so far. Can you believe that the weekend is nearly upon us? This week has certainly flown by…
