Whether it’s black jeans and the classic white shirt with red lipstick as accent colour, the little black dress or an all-black ensemble with tan accessories, simplicity never falls out of style. The lack of jewelry adds to a sophisticated look.

Absolutely! I love the last image – soft white blouse without collar and rolled up sleeves tuck IN to softly tailored pants and a heel – and the red lip – a classic, can do no wrong look. It’s the ultimate in parisian chic for me (with a scarf perhaps..) – love it! PS: I think we’re on the same wavelength this week. PSS: I need to get myself a new tan bag for this season. Psss: Am waiting for my online purchase of Givenchy black n white scarf to arrive to complete the look – yay! xx
I totally agree!
Chic indeed and the black is perfect for this weather cause when the sun will be warmer, we’ll be all white! Love that dress in the third image, the length, the tailoring, everything! Happy Wednesday, Ada! :*
Love these pictures, am a big fan of simplicity and black and white! xoxo
I love this look but i can never get it to quite work and i have figured out that it works best on brunettes or maybe strong blondes rather than fair like myself – if you ever find a pic of someone rocking it with fair hair – pass it on! xx

Will do, Claire. 🙂
Keep it simple is definitely my style mantra! I love these looks and you’re right, the lack of jewelry makes it all so sophisticated.
Ah! Pure perfection! I opted for something simple and chic today (mainly to hide my Easter overindulgence). I also really love the last look of the soft white shirt tucked into sharp tailored trousers!
Dear Ada,
how are you? How were your easter holidays? I hope you’ve spent some fabulous, relaxing and lovely days! We have had some celebrations here that kept us busy. Now (on Wednesday, hehe) back on track and following up on all my preferred blogs! 😀
Oooohhhh, I’m such a fan of KISS – Keep it simple & smart – my preferred look is blue jeans with a white shirt – or black to white as shown above, that looks effortless and flawless same time. Miranda Kerr looked fabulous here – and there is a pic showing Rosie Huntington-Whiteley with silk white shirt & black pants – PERFECTION!
Wishing you a beautiful Wednesday, dear!!

Totally agree! Clean lines, best quality, natural fabrics and a touch of make-up never fail to impress. x
It’s so clean, classic & chic. I love this look. And no jewelry makes it even more perfect! xoxo
Keeping it simple is always the best look!
I feel like this is a uniform for me. I wear this outfit at least once a week!
xo
Me too, Tamra. 🙂
I love this type of look. So nice.
Wow I love this!
And I so agree 🙂
Oh Ada, I’m all for keeping it simple + chic – these looks are all so lovely. Black and white always looks so timeless and elegant xx
