New season, new challenges. Style-wise, mixing prints together is one of them. An entirely new territory for me, but these grunge inspired looks, combining apparently incompatible prints and fantasy in a very unique and refined way, encourage me to step out of my comfort zone. I think I will start with my plaid shirt, which is a symbol of grunge and which involuntarily became a classic piece, and my floral pencil skirt. This should be fun.
Wishing you a wonderful autumn!

This is a perfect example of grunge done right. Some people take it too far and it can look messy.

I agree, Nicole. And I think the title says it all.
I love such kind of experiments! Ready to be creative! : )
Always makes me think of Dries… He is so amazing at mixing the prints. Not sure it would ever work for me and would love to see your outfits if you get a chance to take a few photos. x
Natalia, yes, Dries is the first one who comes to my mind too. He’s my inspiration when it comes to mixing prints. I am trying to have a few photos taken, I hope I will be happy with the results (I rarely am). 🙂
Ada,
The mixed of floral skirt with plated shirt sound great as long as they have a common thread.
Have a great Sunday
This is a beautiful editorial and to be honest I didn’t think about ‘grunge’ when looking at the images, but ‘quirky style’! Indeed mixing prints is new territory for me as well, but I would love to try this fashion challenge!
