After one more weekend road trip (I’ve had quite a few this summer) I can’t say I’m well rested for a new work week, but I sure have the satisfaction that it was worth it. I still have a couple of destinations to check off my summer travel list and one of them is a beautiful vineyard in the south of our country that I’ve wanted to visit for quite a while.
Which leads me to Fendi’s fall campaign featuring Joan Smalls, photographed by Karl Lagerfeld and styled by Charlotte Stockdale. Shot somewhere on the hills of Chianti, at about 40 km outside of Florence, in a landscape of olive and cypress trees and a former vineyard, I can’t picture a more perfect location for an autumn campaign and for highlighting the colours and textures of the luxurious bags and sophisticated looks of the Roman fashion house. Beautifully evoking the Italian heritage of the brand, this is one of the few campaigns of the new season that have caught my eye.
I wish you a wonderful new week!
I love this campaign! Happy Monday xoxo
It ‘s nice make road trips. I really love it!
Colors presented by Fendi are beautiful. I like the volumes of clothes, too… Oh, I want that blue bag right now!
Have a wonderful Monday, Ada.
I hadn’t seen this campaign yet. The photos look very alluring, that top photo is my favourite because of the background and the beautiful bag, of course.
It is good to hear that you had a wonderful road trip. I hope you make it to that vineyard very soon.
The breath-taking scenery aside, I really love this collection. It’s so grownup and sophisticated – the belt in the last outfit really caught my eye!
I really love the second (haven’t seen this one before) and last images. I got Vogue last Sunday and kept staring at the ad (last image here) because the dress, bag and pose are absolutely perfect.
Have a beautiful week, sweetie!

It sounds like a great weekend! And what a beautiful campaign in a gorgeous setting!
It’s such a gorgeous campaign! Nothing better than a backdrop of a vineyard. I’m planning on going to some in September once beach weekends end. 🙂
Glad you had a wonderful weekend, Ada! xoxo
It’s a very nice campaign! The landscape is lovely, very Italian.
Splendid. Have a gorgeous week xx
I’m a bit envious of your road trip summer! I’ve been so busy this summer here at the house that my travelling has been back and forth to the home stores! lol And now this post makes me wish I could set off on an Italian adventure! What a lovely campaign … will look forward to seeing it in all of the fashion magazines … and of course will think of Classiq! Have a wonderful week, sweets! ~Sandy

Hope you have a wonderful road trip! xxx
I know what you mean because I always menage to do too many things over the week-end and end up being already tired on Monday mornings! But I do love road trips: travel by car is one of the best way to discover hidden gems and enjoy the landscapes. The Fendi campaing is indeed stunning: love the cold palette and the ladylike bags. Cannot wait to get the UK and US September issues to enjoy the FW ads!
Ada, thanks for the lovely comments…I missed you too! Wish you a nice week!
I always find here ideas to inspire me and tips to look better.
Your summer roadtrip sounds fantastic Ada! I love being able to get out of the everyday on weekends and exploring new places. This is really a stunning campaign; the rich shades of blue, green and red are really beautiful! xx
Wow, Ada, this is really something! I seriously love the dress in the last photo. Thank you for the dreaming! xo
The setting is really beautiful and works so well with the collection. I love the second shot with the old stone wall. I hope your week ahead is not too busy!
Ada, hoping that your road trip was wonderful! These images are sheer luxury, I can just sit and stare at them endlessly, the deep colors, luxe leathers, gorgeous clothing…just a dream. And of course Italian wine country is one of my favorite places on earth.
