Hello everyone! I hope you had a good weekend. After a Saturday night wedding and a working Sunday I find it a little hard to focus today, hence my late post too, but at least I have this lovely editorial to enjoy featuring amazing Marion Cotillard (I know, again!). I saved it for the beginning of fall, because it reflects so well these first days of September, with chilly mornings and breezy evenings, but still warm days, when we start to embrace the richer colours and textures of autumn by throwing on a burgundy cardigan or a knitted poncho-like sweater, but holding on to our floral dresses, sandals and silk short pants. And aren’t these kinds of mixtures delightful? Wishing you a wonderful new week!
Plus a few more scoops of style, fashion and design: how to: photo wall / new titles for my coffee table: Drawing Fashion: The Art of Kenneth Paul Block; some of the best fashion photography of our time: Harper’s Bazaar Greatest Hits ; Carine Roitfeld’s book, Irreverent
, finally out / a beautiful editorial channelling a ’20s style and a beautiful and refined collection

You gotta love Marion Cotillard …she’s amazing!
love them all…
This TOTALLY made me smile ear to ear, Ada! I loooooooooooove this editorial (and her) so very much and kept the photos in hope to publish them too. 🙂 I think I will, but not sure when and how yet. And I’ve seen it on Sarah’s blog too. I think every girly girl was totally smitten by this photoshoot.
By the way, answering your question re: framed picture. It was indeed a tear-out from Red magazine. I just loved it so much I had to have it by my bed (sad, I know, I need to get out more 😀 ) And the frame came from a local photo shop, so I didn’t do anything complicated like custom made prints etc.
P.S. Can always scan that editorial for you in high res, so you can print it over there and use, if you like. Just let me know. x
Oh i’ve seen it – i adored it – 2nd shot – yuuumm! x

LOVE this editorial. Indeed perfect for a Summer/Fall transition. Loved the wall with fashion frames too <3 Had another "Drawing Fashion" book on my wishlist ("A century of fashion illustration"), but now I'm very curious about yours! Hope you have a wonderful week Ada. I'll mail you back soon!
I like the layering in this editorial! xx
