Deep shades of autumn

It’s that kind of day when a mood of change is floating in the air, when we finally start to give in to autumn, to its sumptuous colours like plum and burgundy, which can paint so beautifully a fall fête. An enchanting time of year these late September days, not long until we feel the crispness of fall all day long, today as well, not only in the mornings and evenings. I’m already looking forward to hot coffee, baked pumpkin, mulled wine, roasted chestnuts, dressing up the home, reading and reading some more and yes, slipping into knitwear and long-sleeved dresses (what about of a hat speaking of changes?), and maybe I’ll even add ruby, garnet, bordeaux and violet to choose from.  A discreet luxury so easily attainable.
