Colourful coats from Ports 1961

Coats should be part of any pre-fall or autumn/winter collection, don’t you think so? No matter how classic, deconstructed or futuristic, we need these more textured items in our wardrobes for half of the year at least. I can’t really understand such a collection entirely formed of dresses, for example (does any brand think that locally nowadays?). I first wanted to do a post about the coats I liked at the pre-fall collections so far: Calvin KleinBottega Veneta, Burberry Prorsum, Helmut Lang. They are all dark coloured. And then I saw these two oversized ones (I love that shape) from Ports 1961, in cobalt blue and vibrant red: such attention-grabbers, in a good way. Even my classic-style-embracing self needs a little diversification from time to time, if only for inspiration.
