Instead of focusing on the style of someone in particular for this second installment of Classic American Style, I’ve chosen this beautiful and season-appropriate Michael Kors campaign. His designs combine the casual ease of American sportswear and the dramatic glamour of Old Hollywood evening wear in a way that feels natural and accessible. A comfortable luxury that feels good and looks timeless. Needless to say that I’m in love with all these three outfits: it is as much as about the actual style, as it is about a sense of being comfortable in your own skin.

Apart from fur choice (I prefer mink to fox texture-wise) I love everything (and also the hair on the second photo – so gorgeous!)

When you put it that way, then I prefer mink too. 😉
I’m always taking note of Michael Kors pieces lately it seems–they are a more relaxed version of RL, but even nicer sometimes and exactly the kinds of things I would actually wear. Hope you had a wonderful weekend Ada!

Michael Kors designs have constantly grown on me, Mary Jo, and, yes, sometimes they are so similar to Ralph Lauren. I see myself wearing so many of his pieces too, just as in the case of RL.
Ada,
That second and third coat are my favorites. It’s amazing how different is the now MK from the beginning MK. I’m loving his runway outfit,
Have a great weekend dear Ada!
