Most simple in design, these long leather gloves and over-sized clutch set the tone for an anything but plain look due to their lovely shade of caramel. Instead of a bold colour option, this is a softer, elegant choice to a make an outfit stand out, especially in winter time.
We are snowed in, so my weekend is going to be a very quiet one. Whatever your plans are, I hope you have a very good and cozy end of the week!

caramel tastes so nice 🙂
Morning Ada! Hope you are well?
I love caramel accessories and I totally agree with you. So feminine and chic..
Can’t believe you’re snowed in – it’s sooo hot here in SA 😉
Happy weekend xxxx
I’m in the market for an oversized clutch! Enjoy the snow Ada – post some pics! We just have awful cold and grey weather here!
Camel in its simplicity is utterly chic. Enjoy the snow this weekend!
Love carmel leather! So strange to think that just a couple of days ago I was planning to wear my new long leather gloves and then today I’m wearing shorts at the beach–at least your weather has been consistent! Happy weekend to you Ada!

I agree with you they stand out just as much as they would with a bright colour and for me – this is the option that i love – have always loved that shade x

Classic and timeless gorgeousness; one can’t go wrong with this. I have a similar clutch in chocolate brown which I bought in Italy in 1990. Now I just need the gloves 😉
What a gorgeous, sumptuous shade. I really need to reconsider camel! Have a lovely weekend!
Long gloves are missing from my wardrobe! I found some long gloves but they were not matching my 3/4 sleeves autumn coat! But this one do! Wonderful! Have a nice white weekend, Ada! :*
Oooh I love those gloves!
Love love love caramel, I keep buying it and buying it. That bag is just so gorgeous!
Ada, you’re right. the simple design is great. xx
Being such a classic I adore caramel; the leather clutch and gloves look so elegant. Have a beautiful weekend Ada! xx
Love this colour! 🙂 Happy friday xx
I love this color! I actually have quite a few accessories in the same exact color because I can’t help myself from buying it 🙂
Have a great weekend, Ada. Enjoy being snowed in! That can often have it’s benefits 🙂 xoxo
Caramel leather is a classic – you can do no wrong. And long leather gloves are superb too.
As for being a tennis spectator- every year I sit down and listen to the ping ping of tennis balls hitting those racquets and am totally amazed at the players’ stamina. Not only because they’re playing in the summer but let me tell you its hot – like really, really hot. We went on Tuesday night (my first time ever!) and it was 27degrees at 7.30pm – we were up in the stands and it was jammed packed with spectators and not a breath of fresh air.. it was steaming – and would be hotter down on the court (even with the roof open). I don’t know how they do it but boy was it great to watch Nadal vs Berdych (you might remember that game went on for over 4 hours!). I was happy to watch Federer or Nadal on my first outing so it was a good outcome for me.
I would love to see a grand slam at Roland Garros one day to see if its any different?
PS: I’m sitting here with the air conditioner on (34degrees) outside and watching ‘The Women’; absolutely loving it. Can you do a post on that – the styling and fashions are absolutely gorgeous. I am loving the little blouse with eyes above the chest that Rosalind Russell wears 10mins into the film.
Hope you have a great weekend xx
Helen, I seriously envy you for this. Watching Nadal play in a match like that one must be so incredibly exciting. I’ve been watching these tennis tournaments for as long as I can remember and I wish I had been a spectator to a Federer-Nadal match. I’m looking forward to this Sunday’s final though, can’t wait to see the best two players in the world in action.
I loved “The Women” and if it’s like you’ve read my mind: I wanted to do a post about another movie with costumes designed by Adrian and this is what I had in mind. I’ll have to make a little time to watch the movie, sit down and write the post. 🙂
camel is my fav color these days. stylish photo, Ada! it’s snowing all the week long here. Happy weekend and a big hug
powerful and delicious; this is classic and beyond.
Have a nice weekend!
*and bravos! I heard something nice about you on the radio 🙂
Adore the various shades of browns and the other fashionable fancies. Do enjoy the weekend.xx
Hello, snow princess! 🙂 I actually wrote a comment here and I guess I shut my pc before I pressed the “post” button – was really tired (or plain silly) 😀
You know, this has always been my favourite shade when it comes to accessories and footwear. It’s only last year when I finally added a pair of black booties to my shoe collection and I still don’t have any black bags or gloves etc. It’s all in caramels, toffee and other warm light shades of brown. I think I will eventually add a dark chocolate bag to the bunch, but it will take me ages before it happens.
Hope you are enjoying your weekend, darling.

Same here, Natalia. As in the case of black coats, I’ve always preferred nude, camel, caramel footwear and bags. I do have a black over-sized bag, a pair of black boots and pumps, but the brown shades prevail by far. Somehow, these colours work best for me and I find them more elegant than black many times. xo
hi ada !
i saw yesterday in the subway a beautifull young woman in black trench and trousers with two touches of camel, her birkin bag and nices “horses” shoes !!
i was and am still just like you in love with the caramel touch
