All it takes to make me want to wear a colourfully printed pencil skirt in mid-length (even matched to a printed t-shirt, but most definitely with safari shirts) are Christopher Bailey’s designs. Reportedly, the patterns in the Burberry Resort collection were inspired by the graphic covers of poetry and fiction works from the early 20th century. The interplay of elegant proportions with vibrant colours and simple styling is youthful, playful, a little romantic and very modern. Rain or sunshine, these skirts are meant to give your summer wardrobe the kiss of life.

How beautiful is the middle outfit ; love the neutral of the khaki shirt. And I love the mid calf length; it’s a favourite for me always:) Have a good week & thanks for your comment Ada:)
I think this is one of my favourite Burberry collections. I find the prints so playful and at the same time the garments look so elegant. A wonderful mix! I love that shirt in the last photo and then there was a printed blouse that I fell flat for, I think it was in the next image after that one.
i love these. as you probably know i like to use some illustration (i use that term pretty lightly for what i do – maybe sketches is a better word for me) in my textile designs. so i always love seeing it, especially in clothing. it’s so bold, and so retro, and when done right just makes me swoon!
These skirts are insanely good looking… I have been wearing a lot of skirts this shape the past few months, I just love the femininity matched with strength, but none are nearly as amazing as these prints!
I love that Burberry Prorsum is modernizing their style lately. I love the skirts more than anything.
