I though it would be interesting to gather a few black and white shots by The Sartorialist. He captures something different from any other street style photographer. An emotion, a state of mind, the personal style. Self-expression. “I rarely shoot a look where I love all the elements. I don’t need to love the whole look: I just need to identify the one or two elements that mean something to me, and then capture it in the romantic way I see it.” I couldn’t relate more to his words. He remains my favourite. The first photo is perfection. But aren’t they all beautiful?

What can I say? He is simply brilliant. There aren’t many like him – his photos always tell a story and you know how much I love the mix of two. 🙂

Hello Ada,
Hope you had a great weekend.
Lovely pictures, although Bill Cunningham, to me, is the pioneer of street style.
