In some kind of a blogger’s block I was having yesterday evening after a project deadline, I was perusing my files in search of an idea for my today’s post and I came across Oscar de la Renta’s ballerina inspired dress from this season’s collection (strapless, with a bow detail in the waistline, rich textured, crinoline-style skirt and pretty ballet pumps, I instantly loved it). And what immediatly sprung into my mind was Grace Kelly’s ultra-feminine chiffon and tulle full skirt and V-neck dress created by Edith Head for Rear Window. Grace had the presence of a ballerina in it, I remember how she was swirling in the movie in front of a dazed James Stewart, showing off her elegant outfit with an ingenuous but determined look in her eyes.
