My favourite type of jewellery for fall, combining leather and metal, or the kind that carries a heirloom patina, seems to bestow a rugged refinement on any given look. It’s part of autumn’s arsenal that makes the season’s styles seem even more steeped in tradition and carefree elegance. Massimo Dutti always seems to get it right when it comes to jewellery, hence my list of wishes always includes something of the sort, especially that I have a soft spot for leather bracelets with stirrup hardware. The branch pendant necklace is something I found at Portobello Road Market on one of my London trips; I love its raw aspect, especially in contrast with a crisp white shirt.
