August day trips

It’s a national holiday in Romania today, so we’re having a long weekend. After a Saturday spent throughout the deserted town, in bookstores, hence more titles adding up to my wishlist as you’ll see below, and having late lunch and mint lemonade al fresco and a Sunday spent on a day trip (wouldn’t a visit to a vineyard be a lovely choice for these last weekends of summer?), bathing in the shining sun under an unblemished blue sky, today is left to reading, catching up with emails and a little work so that the  transition into a full-schedule new week will be a little smoother than it usually is after an extended weekend. I hope your week is off to a very beautiful start!

    Always loved this editorial, too. :) I’m having a long weekend here as well. Not that we have a bank holiday – just decided to have a Monday off. :) )) Feels wonderful and I haven’t spent much time online over the last two days – sort of a PC detox.

      Yes, it is. It’s nice to hear that we share our name and yes, you are right in your other comment, it’s not a very usual name in Romania either, although I’ve started to hear it more often lately. Thank you for stopping by. :)

    Thanks for sharing that lingerie link, really beautiful things they’ve got. And what you added to your wish list is either on my list or going there. Maybe we should just move in together and save on books, hahaha. I think I could pull of those stripes on stripes … I liked it.

    It’s a national holiday here too and I didn’t even realize it until maybe two hours ago. Hubby of course had the day off after his travels so we’ve just been taking it slow. So good to have him back.
