I was just wondering which celebrity was going to be next in Louis Vuitton’s Core Values advertising campaign. It’s none other than Angelina Jolie photographed by Annie Leibovitz, of course. In a traditional wooden boat, in the luxuriant lakeside landscape of Siem Reap province in Cambodia, the country that changed the course of her life back in 2000 and where she began her humanitarian work, Angelina is more natural than I’ve ever seen her: barefoot, wearing her own clothes, no make-up (update: or barely there, lol), with her own Louis Vuitton Alto holdall in Monogram canvas right next to her. I understand that this model is no longer in production, but they’re considering of re-editing it.
I love the personal approach of these Core Value campaigns started a few years ago, through which the legendary brand returns to one of its fundamental values: the art of travelling (after all, Louis Vuitton’s heritage consists in the monogrammed travel bags) defined as a personal journey, a journey of discovering or re-discovering yourself, an enriching and sometimes life-changing experience.

I think it’s one of my favorite campaign because it’s so natural!
i must say that i find her true and i really love this picture
Annie Leibovitz did a great job !
do you really think it’s without make-up & photoshop ?!
have a nice day

@ Frédérique
they say it’s without make-up, but even if she does wear some, it’s very natural, come on! I didn’t say they didn’t use photoshop, although I would love to see a raw photograph in a fashion commercial. Who dares? 🙂
This photo is like a Ruben’s Picture. In my opinion is a bit boring

Really loving this campaign because it tells a story or makes me think of one. The only tiny problem I often have with Annie Leibovitz’s photography is a heavy airbrushing… I just wish they kept things more as a photograph rather than almost a painting. I just think Angelina is beautiful anyway and doesn’t need that much work done on her face or figure. But that’s just me.
Have a great day, darling!

I loved the simplicity of that photo as soon as I saw it, it’s beautiful and natural.
By the way, I loved the core values campaign with Sean Connery.
The natural look is very beautiful and I also like that it are her own clothes and bag. But I’m not sure yet what to think of the photo itself, it’s a thinker…
I think this photograph is stunning! It’s nice to see something a bit different.
Fabulous as always! She’s gorgeous in any angle. Enjoy the lovely day, Kellie xx
Love this new campaign with Angeline.
Obsessed with LV

This is such a beautiful picture, in fact, one of the most beautiful ones of Angelina Jolie that I’ve seen Ada! I love the signature colors that Annie Leibovitz used in all her photos, very polished but somewhat dreamy. The concerts that you’re going to sound so exciting! I’m like you too…I like to be comfortable especially if I’m going to a busy event. xoxoxoo
How beautiful, Ada! I agree with you. She defintiely looks more natural and more beautiful than ever. Thanks for sharing 🙂 xoxo
Not the biggest fan of Angelina Jolie, but I just love this photo, the stunning background, the meaning behind it and of course the photography, thanks for sharing!
she is so beautiful! i love her natural like this
This is a stunning picture of Angelina Jolie. I love the simplicity of the surroundings and her outfit. Love this picture! Thanks for dropping by my blog.

I think she looks amazing.
Hmm… there is a lot of make-up around her eyes! I love Angelina though. Leather bags – not so much. I think it’s a bit of a shame that the photo has such pale colours even though it’s beautiful – something about it makes it look almost fake, as if she is sitting in front of a theater backdrop!
I like the photo of you on Trust your style! Also, BEAUTIFUL garden in that pic!! Now that is a background I can believe! 😀
