Welcome to 2012! Instead of new year’s resolutions, which I don’t like to make (call me superstitious, but I’d rather hope for something and work to make it happen than talk about my plans and dreams), I would like to start this year with a reminder about style. About knowing what looks good on you, showing confidence and finding your own unique style. And simplicity is what represents me best. The simpler the cut, the more natural the colour, the plainer the print, the better. This doesn’t mean that I don’t like to try something new or even surprising from time to time or that I’m not interested in trends or in how fashion constantly changes. But it’s so much easier to welcome change when you know yourself well.
Wishing you a wonderful and stylish start of the year!

so true Ada
I like that piece of clothing in the last photo, that would be welcome in my wardrobe π
great reminder for the beginning of the year! thanks
You are absolutely right Ada! And what a gorgeous editorial this was, I especially love the third photo.
Hello Ada,
Happy New Year! I’m sure 2012 is going to be a great year!
I don’t ever do ‘new years resolutions’ – it puts me off a bit. I rather set no more than 3 goals. I feel I achieve more this way π
Have a fab week
xx
Happy new year to you too! Love the no resolution thing and that personal style is a good reminder! I have been going through some looks myself and am curious hat the year will bring us! xoxo
I don’t like to make new years resolutions either- but this year I have made one to work very very hard.
On style I agree with you completely- I prefer simple and elegant cuts. There is a beauty in simplicity I find.
Happy New year!
Si cat de frumoasa e Claudia! π
And a Happy New Year to you, Ada!
@Ioana
Asa este, parca e mai frumoasa ca oricand in editorialul asta. La Multi Ani, Ioana! π
I could not agree more – i just wish i would stop changing! a very very good 2012 to you Ada, thanks for all the style lessons btw i did your hair from the other day on NYE – didnt get a pic running massively late as per usual so may have to recreate one night this week and then i can get a Franky pic too xx

So… you are “no-resolutions” girl, too… And so am I! π I never make them either, don’t believe in resolutions, never try to accomplish them and always suggest that other people don’t make any either. π I think life without resolutions is more enhoyable because you can concentrate on living every day as it comes and get the most out of it rather than wasting time (and life) trying to get your resolutions done. π
And here to the fantastic and resolution-free 2012!

Happy New Year! And Claudia is just gorgeous!
Merry new Year to you! I, too, follow the no new year resolution rule. I think that’s very wise indeed;-)
Here’s wishing you all things beautfiul and bright for 2012. xx
Happy New Year Ada. I agree, find your style and show confidence when wearing it. Fashion is great and fun and fabulous, but in reality… when you find something that suits you, flatters you, and you feel great in – why keep changing the formula? Update- for sure,… but stick to the basic recipe.

Happy New Year, Ada! It’s so true, you should stay true to yourself and stick to what works best.
Hope that 2012 is off to a wonderful start! xoxo
Ooh Ada, this lesson in style is perfect to start the New Year and I couldn’t agree more! I think I’m going to clean my closets out and remove anything that I know doesn’t suit me or that I feel confident in. Even though I’m not a fan of resolutions, my style resolution is to not buy any item of clothing that I don’t 100% love and feel amazing in xx
happy new year, ada!! wishing you the best for 2012!! and i couldn’t have said it better myself…your post reminds me of the judy garland quote, “always be a first-rate version of yourself…”
xo
Beautiful images and words… I’m absolutely agree with you.
Nice post to receive the new year.
Thank you for the reminder, Ada! I love this shoot β at first I thought it was a vintage shoot β gorgeous! Happy New Year!! xo
