A jacket for Fall

See by Chloe Fall 2013

With a design echoeing a military garment, herringbone pattern and relaxed fit, this is my dream autumn jacket, a classic jacket that affirms fall style. In the cold months anything short is out of my wardrobe, and my winter coats, with a couple of exceptions, don’t usually go higher than mid-thigh. But for those perfect autumn days, past the Indian summer we usually have and before the winter cold settles in, this piece is a must-have, an item that carries the elegant essence of fall in the most practical way. It can nicely offset a too polished look or amp up a more casual one and it can easily go over a dress, pencil skirt, jeans or straight-cut trousers. As a matter of fact, this whole See by Chloé ensemble is a beautiful example of how it can be styled. From the long-sleeved knitted dress and chevron woolen bag, to the Mary Jane-esque pumps, I would wear this outfit just as it is.

Have a wonderful week!
